God with us — a family in worship.
Emmanuel Congregation, Nairobi, Kenya
Welcome to Emmanuel—a name that means 'God with us.' This simple truth is at the heart of everything we do. We believe God is present in our worship, active in our community, and working through each person who walks through our doors.
Whether you're exploring faith for the first time, returning after time away, or looking for a church home, you'll find a place here. We're not a perfect congregation, but we're a family committed to following Jesus together, supporting one another, and serving our community with His love.
I invite you to join us this Sunday. Come with your questions, your hopes, and your story. We'd be honored to walk alongside you as you discover what it means to experience Emmanuel—God with us.

Emmanuel congregation was born out of a vision to create a welcoming spiritual home in our community. What started as a handful of families gathering for prayer has grown into a diverse, multigenerational congregation united by our love for Christ and commitment to one another.
Today, Emmanuel continues to be a place where God's presence is tangible, where faith is nurtured, and where everyone belongs. We're not perfect, but we're a family committed to growing together in Christ.
To create a welcoming community where people encounter God's presence, grow in their faith, and discover their purpose in serving others.
A vibrant, Spirit-filled congregation where every person experiences God's transforming love and actively participates in His mission to our community and beyond.
These core commitments shape everything we do as a congregation, guiding our worship, fellowship, and service.
Authentic, Spirit-led worship that honors God and transforms hearts.
Biblical teaching that equips believers for life and ministry.
Genuine community where relationships are built and lives are shared.
Compassionate outreach that meets needs and demonstrates Christ's love.
We're proud to be part of the Presbyterian Church of East Africa, rooted in Reformed theology and committed to the Great Commission.
We know walking into a new church can feel intimidating. Please know that you're genuinely welcome here—no matter your background, your questions, or where you are in your faith journey.
We won't single you out or put you on the spot. You can participate as much or as little as you'd like. Our hope is simply that you'll experience God's presence and feel the warmth of our community.
Come as you are. No perfect attendance required. No dress code. No pressure. Just genuine community and authentic faith.
Here are answers to questions we hear most often from first-time visitors.
We have age-appropriate programs for all children during services.
Services typically run 90 minutes including worship and teaching.
Come as you are! We care about your heart, not your wardrobe.
Faithful servants leading our congregation with wisdom and compassion.
